LET’S DANCE!

LET’S DANCE!
by and with: Jochen Roller

„Let’s dance!“ is an audio-visual lecture format in which choreographer Jochen Roller examines the staging of dance in movies. On the example of film excerpts he explains how dance is used to drive the film plot and how it is supposed to convey different ideologies to the viewer. Since 2007 several episodes of „Let’s dance!“ were produced, each one with a different thematic or aesthetic focus. Each episode is one hour long.
