Examining the anatomies of four European cities, Martin Nachbar and Jochen Roller embark on a choreographic expedition. On each excursion the choreographers produce maps: street charts are associated with thoughts, meetings are simultaneously cartographed, observations are noted down. Layering the different maps creates strata - getting shifted against each other, they form legends. These legends direct the dancers in their work. A kinetic journal forms itself on stage, through which the cartographers navigate dancing
